R B Asbestos Consultants involved in empty homes project………..

RB Asbestos Consultants Ltd completed asbestos survey work that involved several
of their clients all working together. Manchester City Council tasked Rowlinson
Construction to upgrade 27 derelict residential properties in Openshaw,
Manchester. RBAC Ltd undertook the ‘Refurbishment/Demolition Asbestos Surveys’ for the
project. The homes being refurbished were featured in a recent episode of the
BBC programme ‘Britain’s Empty Homes’ on BBC2.

During the reconstruction Rowlinson Construction used apprentices from the
local Manchester College to assist in the works giving them valuable
experience.

RBAC Ltd have recently undertaken Management Asbestos Surveys in all
Manchester College properties. Our Director Greg Byrne oversaw the project and
is now assisting with the implementation of a ‘Management Plan and Policy’ for
the college to ensure all ACM’s are safely managed and monitored.

As part of the work we will be supplying UKATA registered training to all
relevant parties in the organisation.

RBAC Ltd will also be overseeing asbestos removal projects
where required.

Arrange a refurbishment/demolition asbestos survey for your property.
